so i'm driving and listening to the radio... and i like to channel surf.  a certain song plays and i think nothing of it. 

then i am eating at a restaurant and that certain song plays AGAIN.  at this point i'm thinking... hmm... that's a coincidence...

here's the final part that gets me... i go to the SUPERMARKET today and the moment i walk INTO the supermarket this song plays YET again. 

now how is it that i catch the entire song... it's just too weird...

this certain song is one of those songs that are not old enough to be playing all over the place and not new enough to be playing all over the place... it's just one of those songs that you rarely hear on the radio and DEF don't hear it anymore on any major stations... but it's also a song that holds a lot of meaning for me.....

i would like to believe it's a sign... but God's not THAT direct.... is he?

gaining 11 to 18 pounds [which isn't hard to do] can DOUBLE your risk of type 2 diabetes.

now here's some info for what to avoid and what to target.

cold sores:

NO: chocolate, peanuts, sunflower seeds, gelatin, and coffee

YES: dairy products, avocados, beets, mangoes, pears, apples, peaches, poultry, fish and tomatoes

migraines:

NO:  alcohol, dairy, wheat, tea, oranges, apples, onions, pork, and beef.

YES:  granola bars, yogurt, and other snacks.

dry skin/ chapped lips:

NO:  tea, coffee, and cola.  [dehydrating DIURETICS!!!]

YES:  fish and nuts

acne:

NO:  dairy

YES:  chicken.

well.... everyone only lives once.... so treasure them.... each and every person who has made you smiled.  even if it was only once or twice. 

i know i told you i'd put up a wish list but here's the thing...

there isn't much that i want... in fact... here's what i want... from each of my near and dear friends i would like a bracelet [the design may be your choice a reflection of you so that i may think of you when i look at it] as long as i can wear it in the shower it doesn't matter the material.  just bear in mind... i have thin wrists... as do you girls... ;]

or anything that reflects who you are to me that i am able to wear everyday.

this way i may look at it and have it with me every single day and smile for i know i am blessed with a STRONG support system. 

friends are precious... i never want to forget that.  ever.

besides that... gift cards to k.o.p mall, bloomingdales, nordstroms, barnes and noble, bestbuy will do.  ^^V

gift cards are just easy.  much easier than bounty hunting for the stuff i may put up and much safer than the wrong size.

lol, my birthday wish, the one i make before i blow out the candles,  has been the same EVERY year...

there is an ultimate bday gift i am hoping for.  hoping being the understatement of the year.

even if it started yesterday... i'm starting a bit late... i know...

i haven't actually participated in LENT for quite some time... the reason being... that i'm a greedy greedy girl who doesn't like to give up the pleasures of life.  SO, i have officially given up shopping.  the only exception is my preplanned trip to nyc [only chance to find a birthday outfit] with dara and k.o.p when jane and jen come down... there will be no shopping done at k.o.p and those are the rules.  if i break them i will be making a double the amount i spent donation to whatever charity i choose [i'm leaning towards spca and breast cancer].  SIGH* 

maybe this seems like an easy task to you but it's not for me.  SPRING collection has arrived... and i will be missing out BIG TIME. 

sigh*

it will be worth it.  i know.
